Jerusalem’s largest Artfest begins on September 5th, and runs for 2 weeks after that. With over 20 galleries, 27 exhibits, and well over 200 artists, the art festival will be one of Jerusalem’s largest, and most exciting events of the year. Exhibits will be displayed daily between 5am (I know you all want to get up that early) and 22:00 (10 pm – much better). After years of avoiding Israel due to security reasons, cruises have begun to make a comeback in Israel. These international cruises that regularly dock in Haifa or Ashdod are expected to bring over 40,000 visitors to Israel this year. Royal Caribbean’s “Vision Of the Seas” carries over 2,500 guests, and will sail to Israel nine times between this September and November. Celebrity Cruises will also make 9 stops in Israel. Together, these two cruise lines will account for over 40,000 guests on Israel’s soil.
