Heritage House, Jerusalem

I got there by…:

If you enter the old city in Jerusalem, find “Harovah” (the square) which is an open courtyard located in the Jewish Quarter, very close to the entrance to the Western Wall area. Ask around for it. From the courtyard, walk east on the north side of the square, and you will come to a set of stairs going down to some ruins and another set going up to another street. Go up the stairs and make a slight left and then right and follow the street until you get to 2 Ohr Hachaim Street. (The woman’s hostel is located on the other side of the Men’s)

This hostel is a great hostel for anyone who needs a place to stay in the old city. It\’s in the middle of the Jewish Quarter and it\’s a 3 minute walk from the Kotel. This hostel is also run by the nicest people. They set you up with meals on Shabbat if you don\’t have and provide you with Se\’udah Shleshit. It\’s also a great place to meet other travelers in Israel.

Price per night, for 1 person: Less than 60 NIS
