Holon Blind Museum (Childrens Museum)
Cost: 55 Shekels
Rating: 5 out of 5
By far one of the coolest things that I have done in Israel. The museum gives you the opportunity to see what it is like in the life of a blind person. You will walk into the “Dialogue in the Darkness” exhibit with a museum guide who is blind or nearly blind. It is an experience like nothing you have ever experienced before, and it provides a lot of insightful into what life is like for those missing the sense that provides us with 80% of our daily sensory input.
The museum is located in the middle of a large park with a lake and paddle boats, a massive amphitheater, and playground. A great place to have a picnic, take a date, or just hang out for a while.
