Hotel Aviv – Tibirias City (Hostel)

25 August 2009 No Comment

I got there by…:

Bus number 841 from Tel Aviv. Cost is 45 NIS for a one way ticket. Walk down the stairs in the bust station. You will see a slight hill, down being towards the water while up is towards the mountains. Walk down the main street until you intersect with another main street with restaurants, hotels, and shops on it. Take a right and walk straight for 12 minutes.

There is a hotel, which is connected to a Hostel. The Hostel is cheaper, and with the more people you have, the cheaper the price.

Conditions are ok, not great. The fridge sometimes works, and the beds are definitely not bad.

You can rent bikes at the front desk and bike around the city, or the Kinneret.

To get to the Hostel/Hotel from the Central Bus Station, you need to walk towards the Kinneret, until you reach the main road (you should be able to tell which one it is). Hang a right on what I think is Achva St, and walk for 15 minutes and you will see the Hotel Aviv on your right.

If you are biking around the Kinneret this is the place to stay! You can walk downstairs and rent bikes in the morning, leave you stuff, bike, and come back and head to the bus station or stay another night. You don\’t even need to find another place to rent bikes.
