Yitzhak Rabin Guest House (J-lem)

25 August 2009 No Comment

I got there by…:

The Hostel is located off of Gaza Road (Rehov Azza). You walk south on Rehov Azza (which goes from the old city, between Ben Yehuda street and Emek Refiam, accross Keren Hayasod, near the American Embassy), until you reach Nahman Avigad. If you are walking South on Azza, the road will turn into Harav Harzog. Shortly after the name of Azza changes, you will take a right onto Yehudah Borlah. Walk to the end of the road, where there is a traffic circle. Hang a right and walk for 30 seconds and you will see the entrance to the hostel. See Map Below:

It was about $45 per night, for 2 people. We stayed in the worst rooms in the hostel and they were incredibly nice. Beds were pretty good, TV worked, thermostat worked fine, and the showers…I can\’t put into words how amazing the shower is. Staff is decently nice and friendly, and the grounds are great. About 45 minute walk from Ben Yehuda, Emek Refiam area, and 1 hour from the Old City and Kotel. Buses run down the street on Sunday-Friday afternoon.
